Kellie's Castle

Forty 40kms south of Ipoh along Jalan Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah (Jalan Gopeng), which leads to Batu Gajah, stands Kellie's Castle. William Kellie Smith, an English rubber planter, commissioned this Moorish-style mansion in 1915. In the middle of its construction, he left for England where he died in 1926 and the mansion was never completed.
